Frequently asked questions
How can I book a car?+
You can book online at set-rent.com or directly with our team by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Set-Rent is a direct rental company: you always book with us, not through a broker, so the price you see is the price you pay and you talk to the people who will actually hand you the keys.
Can I cancel my booking?+
Yes. You can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the planned pick-up time. If you cancel later than 48 hours before pick-up, the amount paid is not refundable. If the car is not collected at the agreed time, the booking may be treated as a no-show and the amount paid is not refunded.
What documents do I need at pick-up?+
You will need: the main driver's physical driving licence, a physical ID card or passport, a payment card in the main driver's name and your booking confirmation. Documents must be shown physically and in original. Photos, scans, PDFs or documents shown only on a phone may not be accepted.
Is a deposit required?+
Yes, a security deposit is normally required at pick-up. The amount depends on the car class and the protection package you choose: the higher the protection, the lower your excess. The deposit is released after the car is returned in line with the rental agreement. The exact deposit for your booking is always shown before payment.
What is the fuel policy?+
Full to full: you collect the car with a full tank and return it with a full tank. If the car comes back with missing fuel, we charge the missing fuel at its actual value plus a refuelling service fee of 35 EUR. If you prefer not to worry about refuelling before drop-off, ask us about the prepaid fuel option.
